This page covers the terms that apply when you purchase or download digital products from Tedasuke Lab — including PDF guides, templates, checklists, and other downloadable resources.
WHAT YOU'RE GETTING
When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the product for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You are buying access to the content — not ownership of the intellectual property.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Download and save the product to your personal devices
- Print copies for your own personal use
- Use the information in the product to plan your trip or make decisions
- Share a link to the product page (not the file itself) with friends
WHAT YOU CANNOT DO
- Redistribute, resell, or share the downloaded file with others
- Upload the product to file-sharing sites or public repositories
- Modify and redistribute the product as your own
- Use the product for commercial purposes without written permission
- Claim the content as your own work
PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices are displayed at the point of purchase and include applicable consumption tax (where required by Japanese law). Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider (e.g., Gumroad, Stripe, or BASE). Tedasuke Lab does not directly handle or store your credit card information.
Prices are listed in JPY (Japanese Yen) unless otherwise noted. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees for purchases from outside Japan.
FREE PRODUCTS
Some digital products are offered for free. The same usage terms apply — personal use only, no redistribution. Free does not mean public domain.
REFUND POLICY
Digital products are generally non-refundable
Because digital products can be downloaded and used immediately, we cannot accept returns in the traditional sense.
However, if you experience any of the following, please contact us and we will do our best to help:
- Download issues — you were charged but could not access the file
- Duplicate purchase — you accidentally bought the same product twice
- Significantly different from description — the product is materially different from what was described on the product page
Refund requests should be made within 14 days of purchase. We review each case individually and will respond within a few business days.
Note: Under Japanese law (Act on Specified Commercial Transactions), the cooling-off period does not apply to online purchases. Our refund policy above applies in its place.
PRODUCT UPDATES
We may update digital products from time to time (for example, to reflect new train routes or pricing changes). If we release a significant update, we will make reasonable efforts to notify purchasers — but we cannot guarantee that all buyers will receive every update.
ACCURACY
Digital products are created with care and based on real research. However, travel information changes — prices, schedules, and regulations may be different by the time you use the guide. Please verify important details with official sources. See our Disclaimer for more.
COPYRIGHT
All digital products are copyrighted by Tedasuke Lab. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited and may be subject to legal action.
